As the UK’s number one company for Health & Safety we understand our responsibility for the safety, well-being and success of everyone who works on our sites.

That’s the motivation behind our Safety Never Stops conference. This annual event brings together staff from across Mount Anvil, our partners and our subcontractors to celebrate and shape our Health & Safety culture, strengthen our working relationships and practices, and engage and empower those creating our award-winning homes with the help of industry-leading performance coaches, trainers and psychologists.

Our guest speaker for this year’s event, held at St Luke’s Church on Old Street, was renowned author, behavioural psychologist and performance coach Jamil Qureshi. Jamil, described in the national press as “the mind magician”, is a truly unique speaker who has been behind many of recent history’s greatest success stories, with a client roster including Rory McIlroy, David Coulthard, Ian Woosnam and his record-breaking 2006 Ryder Cup team, Stoke City and other English Premiership football clubs, and NASA astronauts. Jamil has also developed and rolled out leadership programmes at board level for Coca Cola, Hewlett Packard, Emirates Airlines, Orange, RBS and many others.

Jamil delivered a vital, invigorating presentation on the power of positivity, the psychology of optimising performance and the cumulative benefits of incremental positive change. He later welcomed questions and comments that started a lively conversation that continued into the evening. We were thrilled to bring Jamil and his insight to our people and those who we work with.
